John Short III, President

John Short joined the league in 1996 as a TBALL coach. He has been a TBALL, ACORN, MINOR and Major Coach in addition to holding various Board of Directors positions over the past 12 years. John has been TBALL VP, Sponsorship Chair, and Player Agent prior to becoming the President of the league. 2008 marks John's 7th year as President of Thousand Oaks Little League.

bulldogs 2008 T.O. Bulldogs win Moorpark's Spring Break Tournament.
The Thousand Oaks Bulldogs Baseball Team defeated the Moorpark Titans to win Moorpark Little League's First Annual Spring Break Baseball Tournament in the 14 year old and under division. Although the Titans beat the Bulldogs in pool play, the Bulldogs got their chance to meet the Titans again in the championship when they defeated the 2nd seed team from Simi Valley Baseball League. In the championship game the Titians were ahead 5-1 in early innings, but the Bulldogs battled back, led by the strong pitching of Zach Portnoy and Ben Rogers to take the win.
Players included: J.T. Hain, Clark Abourisk, Tanner Kovach, Andrew Lindo, Ryan Kort, Jacob Schroeder, Patrick Burns, Chandler Whitbord, Casey Ryan, Ryan Chavez and Chris White.
Coaches: Joe Burns and Robert Kort.
Manager: Roger Kovach.
